William S. Bailey

Since joining forces with Steven Fury to create the law offices of Fury Bailey, Bill has developed a reputation across the state as a fierce advocate for plaintiffs. Respected and feared by his opponents, Bill is known for his presence in the courtroom as well as his almost-obsessive preparation for litigation.

He credits much of his success to his desire to improve his clients' lives. "I'm consistently impressed by my clients' bravery, after all that they've been through. There is nothing more gratifying than making sure that those responsible for their injuries are held accountable." The American Board of Trial Attorneys invited him to join their board of less than 70 trial attorneys in Washington State, a tremendous honor. However, Bill found that the greatest honor was when he was named the "Trial Lawyer of the Year" by the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association (WSTLA) in 1991.

Clients and colleagues, who get to know Bill, adore his sense of humor and warmth. His personal heroes are Malcolm X, Clarence Darrow, and Abraham Lincoln. John J. Sullivan was his most significant mentor. Bill is the proud father of two daughters and a son. When not engaged in a legal battle in or out of the courtroom, you may find him reading up on one of his many hobbies, or working on his new book.
